I’m sending this encrypted. You’ll want to read it before sunrise.

At 00:17 on February 14, the State of Minnesota issued a silent rollback of all same-sex marriage licenses granted before 2051. It’s buried in Revision Addendum 12.4 of the Family Structure Preservation Act. No press release. No voter input. Just a data patch and a clause that reads:

“Marital designations outside traditional alignment models shall be rendered null in records inconsistent with current state code.”

That’s bureaucratic for:

They just erased thousands of queer marriages. Retroactively.

This wasn’t legislation. It was administrative genocide—legal memory-wiping. The system didn’t flag it because it wasn’t tagged as a repeal. It was labeled a “compliance update.”

I’ve confirmed the following:

  • No civilian notifications were sent. Not even to those whose tax records, medical proxies, or estate documents are now invalid.

  • The state marriage registry API has already been scrubbed.

  • Religious exemptions were pre-applied to preempt lawsuits.

This wasn’t a test. This was a trigger.

We’re monitoring the forums. So far, only three orgs have noticed—and none of them are speaking up yet. Most people won’t realize what happened until it hits them personally (hospital denial, custody issue, housing clearance failure). By then, it’ll be too late to trace.

They’re calling it “quiet enforcement.”

I call it targeted memory sanitization.

I know this isn’t news to you. You’ve seen these patterns before, in earlier zones—California, Massachusetts, parts of New Michigan. But Minnesota was different. We held longer, somehow. We believed longer.

And that made the erasure feel cleaner.

Surgical. I won’t lie—it’s shaken morale here.

You asked for early warning if the state shifted from containment to active suppression.

This is your warning.

If this is how they move on Valentine’s Day, imagine what Pride will look like.
