Eden,

You ever DM a game where the paladin and the rogue are supposed to be sisters, but they keep snapping at each other mid-quest and threatening to “accidentally” stab each other with their bonus actions?

That’s what today felt like.

Christine and Spencer have been on edge since breakfast. Not quite full PvP, but the party vibes are off. Passive-aggressive jabs, zero initiative rolls for patience, and I’m pretty sure Spencer tried to cast Vicious Mockery in real life.

I know—classic sibling tension. They’ve got years of unresolved lore between them. But I’m worried. Not just for them, but for the whole campaign.

Christine’s in protector mode, but it’s glitching. Her posture’s reading like she’s waiting for another betrayal roll. Spencer’s dodging everything that looks like honesty.

If this were a game, I’d call for a group huddle and force a long rest before someone rage-quits.

But this isn’t a game. And if their connection snaps mid-mission? We all take damage.

So I need your read. You see this from your end too? Or am I just over-perceiving with a +3 to anxiety?

Also, not to be That Guy™, but I think Christine’s internalizing the Oakland situation again. She won’t say it, but it’s in the way she hesitates—like she’s rolling every decision with disadvantage.

We’ve got momentum right now. The last thing we need is emotional bleed in the comms.

If we need to call a session zero reset—say the word.

(Chaotic Good, squishy support class, would really prefer the party not implode today)
